Clean-Burning Rice & Sunflower Wax

Our candles are hand-poured using a 100% natural blend of rice wax and sunflower wax, both plant-based waxes sourced from renewable crops.

This wax blend is known for:

Candle Care

To ensure a clean, even burn and to enjoy your candle safely, follow these simple care guidelines:

• Trim the wick to approx. 5 mm before each lighting to prevent soot and ensure a steady flame.

• Allow the wax to melt fully to the edges on the first burn. This helps prevent tunnelling and ensures an even burn throughout the candle’s life.

• Burn for 2–4 hours at a time for best performance. Avoid burning for extended periods.

• Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, flammable materials and direct sunlight.

• Never leave a burning candle unattended and keep out of reach of children and pets.

• Leave a small layer of wax to protect the ceramic vessel and surface underneath it.

• With mindful use, your Meritiamo candle will burn slowly, cleanly and evenly, creating a calm, safe and lasting atmosphere.
